Volunteers and Channel 6 staff have received numerous national and regional awards.  Every year, Channel 6 submits programs to the national competition, The Hometown Video Awards and to the regional competition,  Philo T. Farnsworth Awards.

Since 1995 Channel 6 has received nine Hometown Video Awards including the Judges’ Choice Award.  Channel 6 has also been the recipient of twenty-five  Philo T. Farnsworth Awards.
